Meet the Staff
Dr. Hector Guzman
Dentistry is one of the best things Dr. Guzman ever did. It’s not just his job, it’s a vocation. He loves the people he works with and the people they meet and help every day. There are so many dental needs in the community. Being able to help people have happy, healthy smiles keeps him motivated. He enjoys all that the Keys have to offer: boating, fishing, diving, family and friends. He especially enjoys turtle watching.

Yaremy Camejo
Appointment Coordinator
Yaremy is one of the first people you will meet when you call or visit the office. Fluent in English and Spanish, she can handle just about any question you may have about appointments, dental insurance or life in general. She has been a dental assistant since 2006 and joined Dr. Guzman’s office family in 2008. She is proud to be a part of such an amazing team! She was born and raised in Key West and LOVES it here! She loves traveling to tropical destinations as she’s a warm weather girl and is always up for doing all sports and fun stuff in the sun, including boating and working in the yard.
Jayme Thomas, RDH
Jayme was born and raised in Key West. She graduated from Key West High School in 1998 and attended Broward College where she studied dental assisting and dental hygiene. She has been working in the dental field for over 20 years and practicing dental hygiene for 10 years. She loves spending time with her family, watching her kids play baseball, softball, and spending time on the water at the sandbars. Jayme loves teaching and encouraging her patients to maintain a healthy beautiful smile.
Michelle Blanco
Dental Assistant
Michelle is originally from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. She came to Key West in the early 80s where she met and fell in love with her husband and Island life. You will most often find Michelle out on the water with her family, but never past the reef because even though she is married to a commercial fisherman she gets seasick! One of Michelle's favorite quotes is "If you don't have a smile, you can borrow one of min!" It has been her pleasure to serve Key West as a Dental Assistant for over 25 years. People say that the eyes are windows to the soul, but she says a smile is the way to a persons heart.
Debbie Lou Sattelmeier
Dental Assistant
When Debbie was young, she was terrified of the dentist then her friend referred her to a gentle dentist and turned around her fears. Debbie wants to help to make the dental visit easier on patients that are afraid. She enjoys helping people and tries to tell them all “don’t wait until it hurts” or you may lose your tooth. Checkups are important! In her free time, she loves boating and being on the ocean.
